The Sights of Fleming

I'm always on the hunt for Max Fleming photographs and other memorabilia. Unfortunately, almost none exists. Until some turns up, here's what we've got.

In this long-lost publicity photo, Max  hams it up alongside George Burns at a  1943 benefit for the Gingham Group.  Fleming once said of Burns, "He's the  only guy I know named George Burns."

Below is the cover of the original 1941 Doodle-de-Do. Most of the tracks on this record (long out of print) were recorded at New Jersey's Singtone Studio in 1939. You can listen to the original title track on the sounds page.
